The Host Committee is a special way to support the library

Host Committee Tickets


By purchasing an Individual ticket at $195,
your evening includes a 3-course meal, wine, and a specialty cocktail.
You will also have the opportunity to meet the author during cocktail hour.
Tickets are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

This yearís incredible raffle prizes include a fabulous $2500 shopping extravaganza at Steinerís Jewelry and many more!
The purchaser does not need to be present to win.
Each raffle is $20 or purchase a pack of 6 for $100.
Tickets are not available online,
but can be purchased by following the instructions on the attached form.

Last year, enthusiastic Gala Fund A Need participation enabled the Library to purchase a Community Outreach Vehicle that will make its debut this Spring! Huge thanks for all your support.

This year, the Library will launch a ten-year space modification plan at all three branches. This Fund-a-Need will support upgrades to Main Library Childrenís area and the circulation and research desks at the Marina and Hillsdale Branches. These modernization projects will improve the patron experience at all three San Mateo Public Libraries and are the first of nine major renovations the library has identified.

Help us meet our $50,000 Fund A Need goal and kick off construction of these highly anticipated and necessary upgrades this summer!

Underwriting is 100% tax deductible and is a great way to support our gala.
